The first Mountain Friends Camp will be held June 13-19 in Gardner, CO. See the folder on the left for more information, including how to contribute to their "campships fund" to provide need-based support for participants.

The 36th annual session of IMYM Annual Gathering will be held June 9-13, 2010, at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, NM, with early program days on June 6-9.  The theme is “Quaker Service in the 21st Century.”  See the 2010 Annual Gathering folder on the left for registration materials.  Click here for a brief bio on the keynote speaker, Kara Newell.

The signed agreement between IMYM and Ghost Ranch, called a Memorandum or Understanding or MOU, is posted in a new folder on the left. Click here. All those involved with arrangements at the Gathering, e.g. Registrar, Operations, Kitchen Liaison, YAF, SYF, JYF, CYM, coordinators of worship groups etc. should read this to avoid confusions.

The Continuing Committee met Jan. 8-10 at the Tempe Friends Meetinghouse.  Minutes have been posted.

From Ed Kearns, Finance Clerk: If you want to suggest something for the budget that is not in the budget now, contact the Clerk of Finance Committtee (kearnser at gmail dot org) prior to April 1, 2010. IMYM approved a Minute saying that off-budget items must go to Finance Committee prior to the Plenary Session, for review.

Astronomy night at Ghost Ranch?  One evening during 2010 Annual Gathering, with the 12-inch Ghost Ranch telescope on the mesa.  Limited to 10 people; need to arrange two weeks in advance.  Contact Ed Kearns (kearnser at gmail dot org) to express interest.

Santa Fe Friends have prepared a brochure on Conscientious Objection entitled "Exploring Your Spiritual Self" to help people express their beliefs on the questions traditionally asked by Selective Service.  Click here for the link.

To bring your state's Eyes Wide Open Exhibit to your community,contact your state EWO coordinator via MZerkel at afsc dot org, Chicago AFSC.

To find items on this site, you may want to use the Site Map (tab above) or type a search term in the Search Site window at the upper right, then click on Search.  The Search will look for your search term on all pages (including titles) and all MS Word files.  It will not search inside materials posted as pdf files.


  1. If you are a member or attender of a monthly meeting or worship group in IMYM, you may obtain a 2009 Directory for the Annual Gathering  from Bob Gaines (gaines2166 at gmail.com).  Please specify file type required (.xls, .pdf, or .html).  This Directory is not to be used for any mass mailing purposes, Quaker or otherwise.
  2. If your Monthly Meeting may be interested in its own website hosted free on imym.org, email Bob Gaines (gaines2166 at gmail.com).
  3. If your IMYM activity needs a place on the website or if you have material that should be posted, email Jim Mills.
  4. To download and read pdf files, you will need a pdf reader, which can be downloaded free from sites linked in the menu at the left.
